Unfurling (tūī) - fine art print
Unfurling (tūī) - fine art print
Share
The tūī is the colour of night - jet black with flashes of aurora green, shooting stars of white on his nape, the moon on his chest, and the blue promise of dawn. Twenty years ago there were only twenty to thirty breeding pairs in Wellington; now thanks to pest control they are a ubiquitous sight in everyone's garden.
This fine-art print comes on archival heavyweight fine art paper. Each print is hand-signed and editioned.

This is one of three of Judi’s bird print I bought recently (the other ones were of a Kaka and a Ruru). I just love the blues and greens of this beautiful Tui, the quality of all Judi’s prints are amazing, I highly recommend them 🙂
Thanks so much Tania - I can't get enough of the tūī colour palette. This piece is very special too as it was my very first tūī artwork - the first of many!
