Judi’s art blends wildlife observation with light, mood, and storytelling, creating images that feel contemplative and dreamlike. Within luminous landscapes, her birds are conscious presences, each with its own distinct personality and sense of place.
Based in Pōneke Wellington, Judi draws inspiration from conservation work at nearby Zealandia EcoSanctuary. Best known for photo-art created from her wildlife photography, she also creates mixed-media and watercolour works.

It is a title befitting the subject. I was not expecting to be movingly wowed by the beauty in this tiny art creation but I truly was. Initially intended for the bach it was instantly promoted to the living room upon its arrival where its anthropomorphic qualities - the tenor, the barrister, the dandy, come into play perfectly with the surrounding vanities of the room but redeemed in the knowledge that its artist cares for this and other species her images bear and their habitats. Five stars Judi. Thankyou.
