An ethereal close-up of a romantic lace-capped hydrangea in gorgeous silvery purples.

This is a photo-artistic fine-art print from a very small limited-edition (edition 2/5) turned into a unique mixed-media piece. Giclee printed on the highest quality Breathing Color Elegance Velvet fine art paper, this piece is fixed to a narrow cradle board, then enhanced with a hand-applied impasto treatment giving a texture of thick brushstrokes with a gloss finish. Using a palette knife, the edges are smeared with pearlescent lavender impasto over charcoal chalk paint.

No need to frame - the impasto protects the print from gentle handling, dust, etc.

Artwork size: approximately 30x30cm and 1.8cm deep. Ready to hang with D-rings and string attached on the rear.

Photos show the front and side angles, along with the digital image prior to printing and embellishing.

Two Hearts is also available as an unframed limited-edition fine-art print in three sizes.
