Stomping through a ferny glen, a primeval parrot appears in the dappled light on the forest floor. Holding the wisdom of the ages in his eyes, he surveys his territory.

Kākāpō Kenneth is our gorgeous model for this artwork. Kenneth hatched in 2019 and was photographed by Jake Osborne as part of a health check. Kenneth is quite the character - he loves mugging for the camera and chasing people wearing Crocs so he can bite their ankles! He currently lives on trial site Pukahereka/Coal Island in Fiordland.

Created in collaboration with DOC, who kindly provided the kākāpō reference photo.

This fine-art print comes on archival heavyweight fine-art paper in all sizes, and fine-art metal for larger sizes. Each print is hand-signed and editioned with love and care. Judi donates 10% of her proceeds for this print to Mauri Ora Kākāpō Trust.
